What you will learn: * foundational guitar chords * strum patterns * songs * fingerpicking * how to keep tempo while playing * basics of reading tablature * tools for playing and singing at the same time * simple chord progressions for writing your own song! * basics of lyric writing * basics of melody creation * and more! What you will come away with: * a songbook full of many chord songs you can play * skills and tools for playing guitar for and with others * your own song(s) * new connections with other aspiring musicians * insights on how write songs with intention * tips on next steps to take on your musical journey
